The Longfellow House Notre Dame Weekends & more

This is a retired faculty-owned house that I live in when you're not here. The home is about 7 mins (1.5 miles from the campus area stuff) from campus and has fantastic amenities. It was completely re-done in 2020. The house very easily sleeps 8-10 and could be set-up to sleep 12 or more if necessary.

Well behaved pets are negotiable as part of your stay and there is a fenced yard.

The house is available for weekend bookings and special events. If you only need a single room, lower rates are available almost anytime—whether for an overnight stay, mid-week meetings, or extended visits. Entire-house rentals can also be arranged upon request.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements

• Bedroom 1: Queen bed + Twin bed
• Bedroom 2: Queen bed
• Bedroom 3: Full bed 
• Finished Basement: Twin bed +  possibility of 2 Queen Serta "Never Flat" air mattresses
• Living Room: Sofa (available for additional sleeping space)

Bathrooms

• 1.5 Bathrooms indoors (2nd Floor Full bathroom, 1st floor 1/2 bath)
• Outdoor Shower: Hot & cold water setup available outside (an old-school favorite for rinsing off after a long day!)

Kitchen & Amenities

• Fully Stocked Kitchen: Complete with cookware, basic spices, butter, and pantry staples. Guests are welcome to help themselves to pantries, sodas, and beverages in the fridge.
• Appliances: Dishwasher, refrigerator, and full-size washer and dryer.
• Entertainment & Tech: Large flat-screen TV and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home.

Parking & Access

• Ample Parking: Easy off-street parking in the driveway, plus plenty of street parking in this cozy, walkable neighborhood.
• Property Note: We kindly ask that you keep the driveway clear within 10 feet of the detached garage to allow access for lawn equipment storage.

A Note on the Space

Unlike a dedicated corporate rental, this is my personal home, so you will find fully stocked bookshelves and personal touches throughout. You get the comfort and warmth of a lived-in home, paired with professional hospitality: the house is thoroughly cleaned before every guest's arrival, and lawn maintenance is handled in advance so everything is in great shape for your stay.

• Pricing: Let me know your requested dates, times, and your offer (roughly inline with comparable local Airbnb rates).
• Payment Terms: A 50% non-refundable deposit holds your dates, with the remaining 50% due prior to arrival.
• Security Deposit: A small, negotiable damage deposit is required and is 100% refundable after checkout, provided there is no significant damage.
• Upon agreement a small contract will be emailed to you. 
• Corporate Rental Receipts can easily be provided upon request
