The Longfellow House for ND Renters

This is a retired faculty-owned house that I live in when you're not here. The home is about 7 mins (1.5 miles from the campus area stuff) from campus and has fantastic amenities. It was completely re-done in 2020. The house very easily sleeps 8-10 and could be set-up to sleep 12 or more if necessary. See photos here.

Well behaved pets are negotiable as part of your stay and there is a fenced yard.

The house is currently available to be rented out for Notre Dame events (but a room can be had much more cheaply nearly anytime or the whole house if you prefer) If you don't see the event you're looking for listed, please just reach out to me and check availability - Brian.S.Collier@gmail.com -

as well as  student move-out dates, JPW, and graduation -- but other dates can certainly be negotiated. 

There are 3 bedrooms - 2 queen size beds and a full sized bed. There is also a twin in the finished basement. There are are also two high quality (never deflate technology) airmatresses that can be set up in the basement as well. The house has 1.5 bathrooms (plus what they call a hot & cold - water ol' drunk bastard shower outside too if needed!) 

There is a fully stocked kitchen, spiecs, butter, and all the rest - you are welcome to the things in the pantries, the sodas, the beers, etc. There is a dishwasher, a refrigerator, washer and dryer, large screen tv, high-speed wireless throughout the house, and all the other amenities you would expect.

This is a little unlike an Airbnb in that I really live here and so I do have books on the shelves and some personal things in the house, but the house will be professionally cleaned before you arrive and appropriate lawn maintenance will also be handled prior to your arrival as well.

Send me the dates and times you want ane make me an offer (think of the ballpark of what you would pay for an Airbnb for the same dates) - put in your subject line - RENTAL - so I catch your note quickly and I'll get right back with you and we'll set up a non-refundable downpayment of 50% and then just prior to your arrival you'll be responsible for the other 50%.
